Das Gestalten der Landschaft ist das Vergnügen der Malerei. Die Landschaft ist eigentlich das Ergebnis der Interaktion zwischen Mensch und Natur, sowohl in ihrer physischen Erscheinung als auch in ihrer Wahrnehmung und Reflexion; wir geben ihr in unserer Vorstellung Gestalt. Die jüngsten Serien von Gemälden und Arbeiten auf Polyesterfolie sind eine Suche nach dem Verhältnis zwischen Abstraktion und Figuration. Ein Konzept, in dem alle Arten von Orten gezeigt, konzipiert und kombiniert werden. Die von Henry Matisse geöffneten Fenster waren ein Blick in die Zukunft der Kunst: klare Linien, Formen und Farben. Diese Klarheit in der Verwendung von Form und Farbe wird auch in meinen neuesten Arbeiten immer deutlicher. Tatsächlich bestehen unsere Landschaften zu einem großen Teil aus Formen, die durch Besitz bestimmt sind. So entsteht eine Konfrontation mit der ursprünglichen Natur, einem Fluss, der alles durchschneidet: eine Spannung zwischen gebogenen und geraden Linien, zwischen Natur und Vernunft. Die Landschaften geben den Anstoß zu harmonischen Kompositionen, in denen monochrome Flächen mit dem reinen Lauf eines Flusses kombiniert werden. Monochrome Flächen mit einem Untergrund, der durch die Reaktion von Wasser und Öl entsteht, geben eine Tiefe, eine Sorte von Wurzel, aus der die Natur an die Oberfläche kommt; Chaos als Unterton für das menschliche Denken. Die Komposition und die Farbe gestalten die Musik des Bildes. "Der Mensch wurde in dem Moment zum Künstler, als er akzeptierte, dass die Natur ein Objekt der Betrachtung und der Fantasie wird." The landscape is actually the result of the interaction between man and nature, both in its physical appearance and in its perception and reflection; we give it shape in our imagination. The recent series of paintings and works on polyester film are a quest to the relationship between abstraction and figuration. A concept where all kind of places are shown, figured out and combined. The windows opened by Henry Matisse were a glimpse into the future of art : clear lines, shapes and colors. This clarity in the use of form and color is also increasingly evident in my latest works. Actually, our landscapes largely consist of shapes that are determined by ownership, by possession. This creates a confrontation with the original nature, a river that cuts through everything : a tension between curved and straight lines, between nature and ratio. The landscapes are an incentive to harmonious compositions in which the artist combines monochrome surfaces with the pure loop of a river. Monochrome surfaces with a background caused by the reaction of water and oil give a depth, a kind of root from which nature comes to the surface; chaos as an undertone for human reasoning.
